Re-imagining performance and film making for the virtual space

A balletic performance captured through real time volumetric capture, using unbiased physical rendering, we in effect re-lit and re-shot the performance.
Creating a textural layer as the original scan was sampled in a virtual space. Process artefact and texture is something that's rare in CG animation, and the dual layer of an imperfect scan, that's then photographed virtually creates digital artefacts and a layer of uncertain fidelity.
